This is the Part I of a three-part series of books, based on real-life first-hand events and personal experiences of discrimination, disappointment, and degradation, where names and specific items have been changed for security and liability purposes. It is told in chronological order and spans two years. It represents the author’s argument and case against melanated (black) people intrinsically involving themselves in the gambling industry as a means of procuring wealth, including employment with the casino, which inevitably will NOT lead to life, health, and the pursuit of happiness.
The Ruse – fooled, lied to, and deceived by the gambling industry (casino, lottery, chance, fate, luck, magic) and supported media; fooled, lied to, and deceived by our former slave owners and their children who reap the benefits; fooled, lied to, and deceived into believing we can “get rich quick,” that we needed them to be successful, and that we are “less than”; fooled, lied to, and deceived into jumping through hoops and into a relentless chase of a carrot on a stick made of plastic and superficiality.
