This is the Part II of a three-part series of books, based on real-life first-hand events and personal experiences of discrimination, disappointment, and degradation, where names and specific items have been changed for security and liability purposes. It is told in chronological order and spans two years. It represents the author’s argument and case against melanated (black) people intrinsically involving themselves in the gambling industry as a means of procuring wealth, including employment with the casino, which inevitably will NOT lead to life, health, and the pursuit of happiness.
The Realization – realized there is no such thing as luck, chance, or coincidence; realized we are still slaves on a plantation because our minds are still shackled; realized our roots, our culture, and true heritage was stolen and ripped away from us; realized that we are a strong people who can take just about anything; realized that the “success” they spoke of meant working on their jobs for minimum wage without being promoted unless we were willing to sell our souls and be controlled; realized that when they said “we” they meant “them” and not “us”.
